21% of U.S. Global Warming pollution comes from home energy usage.

Insulation
- Keep your shades drawn to keep the coolness in during the summer
- In the winter, open shades to let your rooms get warmed by the sun
- To cut cooling need in summer, plant trees around the house
- Install a reflective or light colored roof to absorb less heat in the summer and spring
Appliances

- They cut about 1,300 pounds off of GW pollution
- Lasts 15 times as longer than normal bulbs, also saves you money
- Turn off the Lights!!!!!
- Or, maybe, use natural lights... (Sun, moon, stars...)

Cars
- A family with 2 meduim sized cars will add TEN TONS of carbon emissions to the greenhouse effect
- Pollution that traps heat from cars/trucks can stay in atmosphere from a decade, to a century
- Carbon emissions from Ford's 1912 Model T's are still in the atmosphere
- Pollution that traps heat from cars/trucks can stay in atmosphere from a decade, to a century
- Buy a clean, gas effecient car
- Hybrid
More:
- Recycling-
- Recycling cuts the energy needed to produce more paper, plastic, or other materials.
- Solar Panels-
- Solar panels cuts your carbon emissions by using energy from the sunlight. You can collect energy from the sun and use it directly to power things like I-Pods, or your home heating system.
