Will implement a 100% auction "Cap-and-Trade" program to reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
- Will draw upon the marketplace to reduce emissions in a cost-effective and flexible way
- Will require all pollution credits to be auctioned
- Part of the revenue generated will be used to support the development and deployment of clean energy
Revenue from "Cap-and-Trade" system will be used to transform the economy and to create jobs

- Promote developing "commercial scale" energy
- Invest in low emission coal plants

Barack Obama will invest in the fastest and cheapest ways to reduce energy emissions. He will make federal buildings more effecient, by 2025, all new federal buildings will be zero-emmisions. Also, more innovative measures will be taken to improve building effeciency. Some of the first states that implement new building codes to promote less carbon emmisions will be awarded within a grant program.
